got this in a local park.. I wonder who was carrying a French coin in their pocket around a park in new jersey?? I thought it was a token but gave it a wipe and saw it was a franc. not a high value coin but strange find for new jersey. the very cold air is on its way to new jersey so the hunting will take a break for a bit.

I searched the area pretty good.found a smashed mans ring, a junk kids ring, a 1948 Canada 1 cent and $9.32 in clad.the mans ring is big and rang up as pulltab pretty sure its gold ,I cant "bend" it back into shape.
