1937 Walking Liberty Half

Last week, I found a 1918 "D" mercury dime at a park in N.C.
Yesterday my cousin and I went to the park where I found my 1907 Barber Dime,
and found the walker about 8 inches down, on the fence line just outside the park.
I scratched it on the back, not sure how that happened.
It was deeper than most targets that I dig.
It was just past dark, but I was hunting right under the street light.

Wow nice half! I've butchered coins before too....my dumbest move....naval jelly on a 1879 IH. Just stupid. It had a nice green patina and I thought I could make it better. Big dumb head me!

It was kind of dark, I also found what I believed at the time to be trash.
But when I got it cleaned up, turns out it was a sterling spoon.
It's in really bad shape though.
