1st Silver of 2009 AND She's sittin' down!!!!!!
Hey All, I picked up a used Tesoro Silver Umax this week on Ebay and took it for it's maiden voyage to a local park after work tonight and what a great move that turned out to be. This was just going to be a play session to start learning the machine, the sounds and the discrimination settings. I was there for about 30 minutes and hit a breaking sound that turned out to be a '48 wheatie, I lowered the discrimination just a tad and a few minutes later got a smooth repeatable signal that turned out to be this 1891 seated liberty dime. She's a little worse for the wear and has some spots on her but she looks pretty sweet for 118 years old. I pulled it out at a measured 6" deep.
