My Nephew djm of PA & I decided to hunt the Field in My hometown Sunday
again, since the last 2 times I found Colonial Coppers here .
and it's a spot we only hit once a year.
My other Nephew who just started detecting & BKINPA also joined us.
First a Little History.
The Field

sits along the Tulpehocken Trail which was used in the 1700's
by Iroquois embassies traveling to & from Onondaga (what is now Syracuse) and other parts of the Six Nations country.

in around 1800 there was a watering hole built here for the travelers.
known then as the Keffers Tavern stand.
in 1812 Draft resiters hid out behind it till the war of 1812 ended.

the Field was used as a ball Field
