If you are going to liquidate a life savings, shop around, and avoid pawn shops. <-- pretty sane suggestions, don't you think?
I don't think the man is dumb. I think the man is an actor. The silver bars are on lease, and the show is a crock.

Also, the idea of the show being on lease could very well be the truth. I understand they move high volume/high dollar items through their shop but who has $300k in cash laying around for purchases? If it wasn't fake, it was certainly rehearsed in advance.

I used to watch mainly to see the historical Items that were being brought in, but its so scripted, its impossible to watch

yup.i use to like watching it when it first came out and i watched tv.I watched it for the same reason you did Diggin.New information is always worth while.
