Stopped off at one of my old spots after work today just to get some quick detecting time in. Right from the start I dug 2 silver quarters. A 1940, and a 1953 D.

As my hands started to hurt from the cold and I was contemplating leaving. I get And 87 on my Pro 8" down under a root. After a little digging a silver quarter 1942 it was. Shortly after that a 1944 War Nickel

I also found 7 Wheat and a bulls head pin.

Thanks for looking!

You should stop more often for short hunts after work and make sure it's cold out. Lol

Sweet hunt!! I never heard of that many quarters being found on a hunt, two being my most.

Thanks! If it helps. It is an old grove on a lot of acreage I have been hunting now for 4 seasons. Produced over 150 Silver coins. Everytime I think it is finally hunted out. It gives me more silver to reel me back in. It's on the way home from work. So it makes it a great spot to have.

Man, there goes another war nickel that I won't find! Very nice hunt Will. Why would you want to go anywhere else with a spot like that?

Lol. Thanks! I find War Nickels like you find Large Cents. NEPA Don and I have a couple spots like this. They are our spots that we know we can always go back to after a dry run.

You two are funny. For getting in some quick hunts I would just start hitting any patches of woods around your town and on the outskirts. Cjon, you live in an awesome area with many Colonial farms. Anywhere you swing your coil has a great chance of turning up something great.
