"Please accept, with no obligation, either implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of:
a. The religious persuasion of your choice
b. The secular practices of your choice
With and including the utmost respect for your religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions - or your choice to observe NO religious or secular traditions at all. Also, please be advised that these and the following seasonal sentiments are extended free of any reference, inclusion or bias as relates to your race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference, as may be the case.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated passage of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but with due respect for the calendars of choice of any other culture which you choose to recognize and whose cultural contributions to society have helped make America great. This, of course, does not imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country in this or any other hemisphere.

By accepting these greetings you accept the following terms:
- This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal.
- It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting.
- It implies no obligation to the well-wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself or himself or his agents, heirs, executors or others within his or her sphere of influence.
- It is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the well-wisher.
- This wish is warranted to perform as expected with the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher."

In other words, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Peace be With You,
David

And also with you.
Merry Christmas!
Many thanks for your insightful, articulate, and entertaining posts— a welcome addition to the forum.

(Need that in triplicate hard copy, witnessed and notarized?) ::)
