When at work at lunch I like to spend this limited time to do some md'ing. On Saturday 06-07-08 I hit a local school and hit the wood chip area. Under a monkey bar like structure, maybe 10' x 10' I found a couple of cents and a sterling earring, all under the chips. I searched more but had it cleaned out.
On Tuesday 06-10-08 I hit the same school again. As there was kids around I searched the grass areas instead. Dusk hit and the kids left. On the way to the car I dunked under the monkey bar structure one more time. Low and behold in the middle on the chips in plain sight was another sterling earring. Same size - Humm. Picked it up and it was the companion to the Saturday find.
I know it was not there on Sat as I would have seen it or certainly my metal detector would have found it.
I have never had an experience like this one. Thought I would share this.
