In the last two weeks with my friends we had new experiences in metal detecting.Very close to the river Mures on top of heights was found a roman iron fire starter I-III centuries :icon_thumright:.He was buried in the sediment layer or covered over time...Certainly the top there could be controlled all the passes and the roman soldier mission here was to signal to other heights fire controlled by them, a possible barbarian troops passage (dacians).This point certainly present a great significance because it was found a bronze spearheaded Bronze Age from about 1.300 - 1.100 BC :tongue3: .Before the Romans presence in this high place it seems that this place has attracted to the interest of Dacians because I found about 20-22 inches a very well-preserved iron spearheaded dating from the early centuries before Christ.
:hello2::headbang:

In another location where I had been on a hill in an area near the old Roman limes , we found ancient arrowheads, iron hairpins, a flint iron...But the most unexpected and fantastic object found , was a signal to about 25 inches which led to the discovery of a very rare Scythian iron dagger "akinakes" dating from the VI century BC.It is in very good condition of preservation as you can see the images attached :happy3:
:wav:

I made a video with the latest items found in metal detecting.Hope you enjoy:laughing7:
