ANOTHER REST DAY..........

Decided to do the fishing thing tomorrow & take out the silver sabre again. Instead of the paddock, I thought I would try the edges of some of the ploughed fields. Most farms now leave a 3 metre grass strip. Two such strips runs along side a busy railway line. My Cortes can't get anyway near it, but the less powerful Sabre gave me a chance to cover this land.

Very pleased with a Early Medieval Lead Spindal Whorl. Found right on the edge nearest the rails. I only have 1 or 2 as good as this.

Also the Navy Anchor button has a flag, a variation I don't thing I have.

Times are hard, so once again happy with the result.

Hi dug,
More nice finds,I've never found a spindle whorl with a pattern.
I have one of those flattend rings, do you know what they are?

Dave.
