Another SLQ, Some Silver & A Non-Permanent Winding Down From Detecting

I've been pretty lucky this year in general, specially in the SLQ department. This last one is my fourth found within a period of just a few weeks. Odd defeating. The only odds that I cannot seem to beat are finding a half of any kind. Over 300 coins between me and my hunting partner, and not one half has turned up. This Saturday, I went out for about three hours and ran into this fourth of the year SLQ. It was the last coin dug for the day. It was wet and humid that day, so I did not do any filming. That camera like the one prior is showing signs of wanting to die out. The photos are enclosed.

For the second part of this post, this year, Tom and I set a standard goal of reaching 100 silver coins. To date, I've managed 146. This coming Saturday will be my last serious metal detecting weekend for the year. I'll be going out there here and there, but for the moment, I'm going to attend to certain projects. My online forum activities will be affected as well. I'm not gone, I'm just going to slow down until I move ahead with these certain other things. This will prevent the "What ever happened to Ricardo_NY1" thing that I see happen when other members take a vacation :)

Wow, Ricardo!!

You're knocking the snot out of the silver. :o

Don't worry. When you get back from your hiatus, the silver will still be there waiting for you!!

Congrats on greatly exceeding your expectations this year!! No doubt in my mind that if you were to continue to the end of the season, barring inclement weather (I know your season ends sooner than mine, and starts later too), you would reach 200 !!

Congrats!!

My goal every year is 100 silver. I'm at 17. Horrible year for silver. Amazing that you have dug four Standing Quarters, do they all have dates? 146 silver is just crazy. I salute you!
