I found this the other day when I was out. Not sure but was thinking it could be a hammerstone?

My thoughts would be that it depends on where you found it. Was it in the field where you were finding all those points? If so, it could very well have been used. It doesn't look like it was shaped or polished but that doesn't mean it wasn't used.

Yeah it was in the same field where I found everything else. Hopefully when I find an axe in that field there won't be any confusion about what it is. :thumbsup:

Imagine all the times a hammer is needed in our idea of primitive camping now think back say thousands of years ago ,there actually all over sites discriminating is fun and challenging the real obvious ones are collected easy and but there is plenty overlooked ones out there not so appealling or obvious at sites that show use .
