Thanks for the Info! Did Hobos have much change?jeff of pa said:Also look a few hundred feet on each side the train station if there is a Creek
with an area just out of site of the station that looks good to camp,
Bathe, Etc.
Hobos would deboard the train before & hop the train After it leaves
the station. any Tumble would loosen coins in the Pockets
while Jumping off, Any Mishap while trying to Jump on
could cause the same.
& Hobos liked to Carve Nickels while Camping overnight waiting for the Next
Train.

good luck! hope you find more..johnnycat said:A family friend found 3 gold coins almost together along the tracks quite a few years back in Southern New Mexico. Going to that town next week and try to find maybe a Hobo nickel. I remember that the town was always full of hobos back in the 50-'s-60's. We used to go lizard hunting and I can remember that they were camped everywhere along the tracks. Jeff of Pa is right, I can still see them jumping on and off the train as it slowed down to stop at the station.
