You would miss 99% of the good finds.

Force you to swing slow.
the longer you search in a day the slower you will swing & the finds will pick up even more

Absolutely not true. You can swing an Explorer at a brisk pace with success anywhere you would be using a Surfmaster. Is there some negative to doing this, yes, but no comparison to a trashy site where the sweep speed is a much bigger factor.

Are you getting Depth Swinging the EX Fast ?

If I swing the Sovereign fast, it Nulls out on alot of good targets, Signals on some bad targets,
and Ignores Deep targets.

Yes, as long as the IM is open enough you can swing quite fast. I have a friend who near runs with the thing so this was proof above and beyong my own doing.

How many Jeffs are there posting out of PA? I bought an Explorer from one a few years ago, talked to him on the phone for a bit too. I believe he was a Sovereign guy as well. Any chance it was you?
