Your turtle square makes me reconsider something i found. Ther is a square block on a lower ledge to the left too on the cliff face. Nice work Thom.

Am I to understand that following that face and teh square confirmation marker lead you to that cave entrance in the final pic? Wow man. Were there any traps at or in the cave? What was in the cave?

The hole looks backfilled,
this to me indicates more than just a prospect hole.
it may come to nothing though as it is on private property,
we will have to get permission to see more than pictures show.

The hand doesn't seem to be pointing.
as such the position of the hand offers shelter.
this could indicate a decent place to escape the intense desert sun, or just rest, sheltered.

The original meaning is lost with the maker.
But I do agree...

Holy moley Tesoro! That little possible dark eye catcher and the possible carved pointer laying on the hand must be for those that said "what hand??" What a magnifco piece of art it is.
