Be careful with the "junk"

I was throwing out my misc.garbage from our weekend of hunting and got to a piece of metal about 1/2 thick and round and corroded alittle.was bored to i took a toothbrush to it just for the heck of it and i saw lincolns portrait! not valuable put someone appears to have glued 4 lincoln sents together.i think my favorite part of this hobby is that even if you hunt the same area all the time almost every time you find something different or unique.

I have read numerous stories of amature MD hunters on Florida beaches that threw away crusty objects that read metal on the MD. A lot of beach silver is covered in encrustation's. Unfortunately, I have never had that experience yet. Spotz
