Again, I didn't find very much today. But ya know what?
I had a very pleasant walk today. There were a couple finds
some surprises, some smiles, some frustrations....but, all
in all, a walk with my detector is still better than most anything else
in my life.

First of all, as I'm walking along, and reminding myself not to
only look with my ears. This happy face appears in the middle of
a grassy field:

The weather was soooo nice and everything was so calm.
This happy lil face was catching. I was smiling the whole rest of the day.
Thanks James! :)

A few minutes later, I came across this:

I usually keep what I find but this just seemed wrong for these two.
I just didn't have the heart to take them home. So, I left them
in an obvious spot where, hopefully, they can be re-introduced
to their owners.

That sort of set my mood and the tone of the day to a positive note.

Sort of a strange piece, (to me :dontknow: )
Whatever it was, it sure is one solid piece of brass!

This is that nice button I found a couple days ago,
just thought I'd show it cleaned up a bit.
Pretty, ain't it. :)

Two walks in a row where I've found a "skeleton" key.
I think that's a record, for me. :)

Ummmm.......fore! ??? :dontknow:

Well, it is shiny. :dontknow:

Thanks for peeking!

Nice day out, I really like the old key. And don't forget, you're never too old to play with toys!

Nice hunt, Whadi, I wonder if that heavy brass disc might have been part of one of those benchmarks surveyors lay into rock when they're surveying the countryside... also- congrats on another beautiful key. Would love to find an old skeleton key, I'm not sure where they are all hiding here abouts, I always only find the modern brass flat keys....

Is Fishy trying to hide the shiny quarter with the ball?

Well you are certainly the guy with the keys!
There maybe more than one treasure chest you need to search for. ??? 😁
There's a message in there somewhere.

You did find someone elses treasured toys.

A very nice walk and collection of lost items.
A little spare change doesn't hurt either!

Thanks! The strange thing is that I found these last two keys on two separate walks in two completely different sites. Strange! :)
