Blue stone cuff link-need help Id'ing

Found this today at a site where we've found numerous colonial relics. Wondering what kind of stone it is. Also found this cool little buckle along 20150205_160159.jpg20150205_161208.jpg20150205_184702.jpgwith some flat buttons and a couple of Enfield bullets. Thanks for looking and any input is greatly appreciated.

Wow! 17TH century. How cool is that! Thanks for the info. Going to stop by jeweler on the way home and see what the stone actually is. Will keep y'all posted.

Sorry, I used stone, generically, its most likely early glass.

Thanks Cru. Good info. Jeweler thinks it's early glass also. Still a very cool find for me! Thanks again for your input.

Couple of very cool finds, liking them both.

Shirt stud/collar stud...same difference.

Although the mounting looks earlier, I've been think on this one & have to agree its more likely a mid-late 18th C Collar Stud, not a cufflink & not as early as I first mentioned.

I think the dome shape of the stud, and the very thin back plate points to that function. any thing else would have to be heavier.
