Blue stone cuff link-need help Id'ing

Found this today at a site where we've found numerous colonial relics. Wondering what kind of stone it is. Also found this cool little buckle along with some flat buttons and a couple of Enfield bullets. Thanks for looking and any input is greatly appreciated.

Strange the stone & top piece look late 17th C - very early 1700s, but the the base is odd for this period!

The buckle could be late 17th C as well, I have found a silver version of that type.

Sorry, I used stone, generically, its most likely early glass.

Although the mounting looks earlier, I've been think on this one & have to agree its more likely a mid-late 18th C Collar Stud, not a cufflink & not as early as I first mentioned.

I think the dome shape of the stud, and the very thin back plate points to that function. any thing else would have to be heavier.
