Well I didn't dig them but I did find them. I found them under a old house in the city this morning while working(I have permission to remove anything I find) I don't know much about bottle and of coarse the dude in the local shop told me that most of the small ones where only worth about .50 cent each. Well I dont believe him, but I dont know much about them either. So help me out here. I hate to do it but any ideas of value? And in the box was the Good Conduct medal and a 43 steel wheatie.

Thanks for Looking

Not to step on anyones toes ,,,, but here in Colorado the bitters is not worth $50,here they consistently sell for $12 to $25 they are VERY common . Now if it were Green or a very light amber,or yellow, then around at LEAST a couple of hundred $. I can not see all the bottles very well, but it looks like the Bush bottle is your best one. The cobalt LAXOL bottle $ 12 to $25 .Some of the mason jars could be worth $10 or more. As far as the plain bottles go , I don't think he lied to you,50c to a $1.00 is about right. If you find someone to give you more,Please send them my way. I put all my "junk" bottles in a box until it is full then sell for $10 to $15. But all opinions aside ---- WHAT A GREAT CRAWL !!!! :headbang: Congrats :icon_thumright: Nothing like looking into a crawlspace and seeing antique bottles staring at you. Also want to apologize if this sounds smartass ,was not my intention. HH

I think the Busch bottle deserves a little more attention. Did you notice the print below the label stating that it had a registered trademark and should be destroyed when empty? If that was actually the case, there may not be a lot of them around.

There are a few good ones but nothing extremely rare or valuable that I can make out. Still, it is a nice grouping of finds for sure. Looks like most are of the older bimal type. The common Hostetter's, in such dreadful shape, would nary fetch a couple bucks. Wet shiny mint, maybe twenty bucks nowadays. The common Budweiser branch bottle is a returnable crown top, I have yet to see one free of heavy wear rings around the bottom and shoulder from being returned many times. But yours looks very clean and free of wear, one of the better ones. I would say that averaging all the pieces, $2.00 apiece would be good estimate for the lot, in a wholesale offering.
