Your US piece looks like collar brass... WWI... still looking for what unit...
I can't believe I didn't think of that before. It's definately collar brass. Here's a picture of the back. Thanks for the help.

Nice work, guys!

However, the large crosshatching or "diamond" background with dots (some have acorns or shields instead of dots) identifies this as a Type II collar disk, c. 1926-37. (Actually, unofficially many remained in use until around 1940.)

The first response to my post was from HOSSNV. He said "Wait until PBK sees them." He was right and thanks for being so helpful. I've gotta start expanding my collection of books and then I'll be able to identify this stuff on my own. I appreciate the help
