Civil War Buckle Tongue?

Was coin hunting today around an old home site today and got a good one I think? Scratched the back side with the shovel as I was digging it , it was ~8" deep.

A plain tongue portion of a two piece buckle. Searched the area well but no sign of the other half.

Let me know if you think it is period?

Although I am not an expert on C.W. period Tongue and Wreaths,I beleive it may be,although the way the center disc is attached does resemble a type from the 1880's?Nice find!!
