Can anyone help me ID this square? I live in Los Angeles and found a Roman coin previously at a Home built in 1887. I believe I found this on the same property. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1478095338.781547.jpg

Cru; my oversight; thanks.
A weight that light, might also be consider a dram weight use in apothecary measurements-- where a dram is equal to 1.77 grams.
This object might them be considered as 3/4s of a gram. Just making an guess.

Yes a medicine weight is just as likely, but with little or no signs of markings visible they are both best guesses. Although I like yours better than mine.

Thank you Crusader, Mackaydon, vpnavy. The property I found it on was built in 1887 by a doctor. For being in the middle of the city there were a lot of relics, so it quite possibly might be a medicine weight. Thank you all for your help. Dave
