it they're near a path or trail, possibly dirtbike or 4wheeler ramps - they look pretty similar to the ones the neighbors built out behind my inlaw's.

Someone's digging for arrowheads. If a professional had excavated the site, he would have done a straight line excavation. These were pot hunters. HH

my best guess would be that a few kids years ago tried to build a little bmx track. that is what i think it is i build bmx tracks with my friends all the time cause i ride my bike all the time (maybe ill go pro one day...lol) but yeah we always build ours in the woods so thats what it looks like to me from your pictures... just thought i might be able to help..HH lance

clearly its a crash site..from the size of the holes, i would say its very likely escape pods from a doomed UFO.
air force shot em down and they launched the pods.

unfortunaly the air force was albe to track them and recovered them shortly after touchdown, thats why theres no trace of the pods left in the holes..

however if you go over the site with a Giger counter(SP) you will find the area to be a hot spot.

Im with Brandy. Someones digging for arrowheads. Are there piles of dirt next to the holes that look like they have been run through a screen? Seperate smaller piles of small rocks and perhaps flint chips?
