After I finished the one bag last night, I looked through the clear plastic on the three others trying to deicde which bag to do by seeing if I could spot an old wheatie or indian at a glance. Well a quick glance at the first one didn't show much. So I looked at bag #2, at first nothing and as I scanned toward the bottom of the bag I spotted a wheat penny. As I attempted to flip it over I noticed the other 3-5 pennies touching it were also wheaties. At that point I knew I was going to open that bag.
After going through 5 to 6 handfuls near the top with one or two wheaties total, I started to get 5 to 10 per handful for a while. Finally finished the bag a little before 3 AM last night (I started around 1:30 AM) and decided to wait until today to update my tracking sheets as I was a little tired and I had more than usual so it would take a bit longer.
Well, turns out the $50 bag had 225 wheaties. My previous record this year had been 30 wheaties in a bag. My record all time was 69 wheaties in a $25 box. So this bag shattered those records and put 3000 wheaties for the year back in reach.
225 wheat pennies total (including 7 steel wheaties):

I'll try to post a picture in a little bit.
This was part of my 11-13 and 11-14 post, but I thought it deserved a thread of its own.
