Funny that you mention that because our warehouse uses motion sensors for lighting control.
I challenged Tristan to go down one dark aisle and I would go down the dark aisle next to him.
Who will get to the end of their aisle first?

Ah, ah, ah! :nono:
If the lights come on, you are KIA!

Best,

Speaking of wonderful 70’s movies...... my uncle took a bunch of us kids to see a DRIVE IN movie. He had a Huge Mercury Marquis. He put about 6 of us kids in the trunk. We pulled the trunk down real low....... he got us in the movies. I’m the first one out and land in a mud hole. We thought we had stuck it to the man.......... YEARS later my mother said “ son, kids 12 and under got in free!” Well that let the air out of my story!!!

No problem, Brother.

I learned many things in the military.
It took me awhile, but I would sneak up on my cat, Otis, when he was awake and reach out to pet him.
The first few times he freaked out.
Then later, he would turn to me as if to say, "Oh, you again?"

Best,

Scott

Oh my.... I love Shark Week and I learn something every year. Great Whites were attacked in South Africa and ripped open with their livers surgically removed... Nope not Bigfoot....... the culprits? Orcas!

There's a drawing tonight for "Mega Millions."

The Jackpot?
Over a half BILLION Dollars!

What would you do with such a win?

Me?
Have the most lavish funeral because I'd have a heart attack....

Well, maybe I'd have just one more drink.....
On my Big Payday!

Yeah, I got skin in the game, Dig?
"Can't win it if you ain't in it."

But, just watch my ass get up and go to work tomorrow.
As usual....

Best,

Scott

Realistically, I'd claim the prize anonymously, through a trusted lawyer.
Then, I would hire a reputable account expert to manage the money.

After all legal concerns are in place, I would then be generous to my Friends, and work with organizations whom help Veterans in need.

And, I'd still go to work tomorrow and not say a word...
Because that's who I am and what I am about.
I love my job!

DIG?

I went to see Tina today because my steel-toe boots were getting worn out and we are allowed a stipend for footwear every 6 months.

Well, I take care of my shoes and they are still good.

Yes, I apply kiwi and polish them frequently.
I have boots with the best polish of anyone in the maintenance shop.
Imagine that....

But, the inner soles are worn out and I have the same steel toed boots when I started working a year ago this coming week.

I chose a pair of $170 Doc Martens. With gel insoles....
They will come in about a week.

As I passed the receptionist that I had singing last Friday, I stopped and sang,
"I'm easy like a Sunday Morning."

She looked up from her keyboard and said, "Child, that song is too slow."

I smiled at her and said,
"Not when the lights are turned down low."

She smiled and said, "I feel you, Scotty! You know Motown, don't you?"
I said, "Yeah, I do. Have a beautiful day, M'Lady!"

That moment made both of our day just a little bit better....
I'll bet that the next time that I see her, I can pull some Bootsy on her and get her to dance with me right there in the office!

Ain't it funny that I don't even yet know her name?

Best,

Scott

How odd...
I'd consider buying an island and a helo would be the only way to get there.

I'd hire you as my pilot to bring Friends to my Island for the party!

Ummm...

But chill on the 50 cal, OK?
I'll have a range built for just such occasions....

And, when you think that life is hard...

I served with these same brave men from the 1st Infantry, 1st Cav and 82nd Airbourne.

I heard their stories. I talked with them.
I live their nightmares in my dreams most every night...
Is today your day to die?

latest

I eased their pain.

But no one can ease my pain.....
Sometimes a helper needs help....
What I mean is that one can be overwhelmed with trying to help.....
And feel useless.

Exactly why I refuse to watch any type of "war" movie.

To this day, if I'm in deep sleep, and I hear a helo, I will roll to the floor even before I awake....

Conditioned response?

Sorry. My bad....
A serious digression....

And, keeping the conversation light,
I get to choose the next tune, right?

How about some Journey?

Don't lie....
I hear you singing along!

Y'all Live Large, Dig?
Don't make me play another tune....
'cause you know that I will...

OK. You asked for it....

More Journey....

And, yes, I hear you singing along.

But you aren't singing loud enough.

SING OUT like you got a pair!

If you don't, I've got some trashcans that need special cleaning with a toothbrush.

r-lee-ermey-dies-rip.jpg

Ready?

Let's vocalize, y'all!
