Last night my grandson and I were talking about fishing. A friend of ours caught a 56 inch Redfish....... I said “that’s longer than you are!” He said “ no it isn’t Grampa, I’m 4 foot 12 inches” I laughed....... product of public school system. Hehe

RC,

Thanks for the chuckles....leading with the chin is generally not the best method of self defence...lol.

What's that martial art form where you lean into left hooks repeatedly? I tried that awhile.....
It was too much like marital art for me though.

Just finished my second "online" poker tourney tonight.

On a "Friday the 13th,"

Fortunately, I do not suffer from triskaidekaphobia.....
Jason better put that hockey mask on his nuts 'cause I'm coming and I'm kickin' some....Ahem....

Yeah, I won both tourneys....

Capture win Friday the 13th.PNG

I have decided to either go to a casino on my Birthday Vacation week or go to a Franklin, North Carolina area to camp and gem mine.
I got a couple of weeks worth of MRE's....

Perhaps the casino would be more profitable...
Yet, my enjoyment would be greater if I were to go camping and gem mining....

I'm still weighing my options....

And, yet another weekend has finally arrived.
For all of us "working stiffs," I offer this oldie but goodie!
I worked all week for today!

Hope y'all have a great weekend!

By the way,
Welcome to our new Critter Charter Members!

Tom Restorer and Gold Boy:thumbsup:

Y'all be good, now.... Hear?

The "One and Only,"

Scotty

2GF,

Nope unfortunately all gone...lol.

Pretty much down to just drinking beer now. I've cut out both hard stuff and wine as well as cigarettes.

At this rate they'll have me sent to a monastery soon....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Regards + HH

Bill,
I'll go to that Monastery with you as long as I have a frontal lobotomy...Ummm...
I mean a bottle in front of me....:occasion14:

Now then, where are my glasses....
Doesn't matter...
I'll drink from the bottle....:tongue3:

Serious business today at work....
Thomas at "C" dock said that over half of his doors won't open.

The chain on the mechanism is jacked.

I told him that It will be taken care of...

So Tristan and I harnessed up and drove the scissor lift to "C" dock and I repaired 6 dock doors.

What happens is that the chain will jump from the sprocket when some dumb-ass driver doesn't know how to operate the chain-drive mechanism properly.
The door slams and the chain jumps the sprocket....

I took pictures of the mechanism and told Shannon that I already have ideas for repair fabrication.

He said, "Go with it!"

A couple of pics....

Yeah, I know of fabrication.....
But, if anyone has Ideas, I'd love to hear of them....

I'm already on the "Greatest Maintenance Man" list,
as I converted all Jacks to a standard battery connector, thus eliminating connector adapters.

Is it possible that I can be named "Employee of the Month" again?
Nah. That's just Ole Scotty, doin' what Scotty does best! :headbang:

And, I feel like hearing an Opera tonight.
How about you?

Perhaps Georges Bizet? From 1875?

Follow along, I'm sure that if you are educated, you have heard this before....
SHHH!
Find your seats and be attentive!

The performance is about to begin!

Again, solace is found in music....
I was introduced to classic opera in my teens.

And, when we emerge from the Opera, perhaps you wish for something more modern...

Perhaps this will guide you towards modern times....

You gotta love music!
And, let's share an espresso and conversation.....
You will be amazed....

Marshall amps?
I prefer Peavey's....

Last week when I was at the VA, I saw a fellow service member who was struggling in his wheelchair. I jumped up out of my seat and went to him. I noticed he had a Seal Polo shirt on. I said “ Hey Chief let me help you out.” So I pushed him in line and checked him in then I sat down. He now wheeled over to me. He shook my hand ( a mans handshake) and there was tears coming down his face. I thanked for his service. He looked me in the eyes and he said “ thank you friend, I’ve been having a bad day.” Shortly I was called in. Yesterday I was back at the VA. I was taking a short cut through the Cantina, when I saw him again. I yelled across the cantina “ Hey Chief, our paths cross once again!” I walked over to him he said he started out as enlisted but retired an officer. I shook his hand again where he asked my name again. I told him. He said he won’t forget me. I made a new friend!!!!!!its funny. I don’t fit in this damn civilian world, but let me meet any service member of any branch and we are long lost brothers......
