"DANGEROUS"

Got a big signal and right below the surface scrapped away dirt to reveal a white sign face up with big red letters "Dangerous" and even though I'm sure it was just a sign, I left it there. Maybe I'll go back and get it later. Kind of a cool "jolt" of a find. Also found a 1961 Rosie dime a couple wheaties and a couple newer pennies.

Dig it up and nail it to one of the trees. Maybe discourage others from detecting the swimming hole

Ahh, i was only messing around, Moon. The swimming hole is private prop, so no one else will detect it.

Keep digging. Most likely that sign is right over a door to a secret bunker that the government was using to store gold they stole from Germany right after the war. The bunker was probably booby trapped and put near a swimming hole to distract people. Later on it was no doubt forgotten about when Clinton did all those military cutbacks in the 90's.

If it is diamond shaped it is probably one of those signs we have to put on the side of our semi trailers when hauling certain products .

No, its a rectangular sign. Have no idea how it got there or what it was for?
