My first Large (oldest coin) 1850, almost gave up on this spot, very hot today. It rang up like a quarter 87-89, i figured i'd dig the last quarter and call it a day... What a surprise, after the 1850 i dug this cool button. Any help on the age? It has what looks like an L with some type of banner across it, on the back. Also got this buckle, any age on that would be awesome and this other thing?? I have no idea what the black thing is. It's two pieces, it unscrews.. I thought it might belong to a microscope (eyepiece) but there's no glass or lens in it????

Nice finds! Black piece looks to be the lower end of a microscope, the piece that goes down to the glass slide to view.

Pot pipe for smoking weed, take a puff, see if they left you any, nice job on the LC
