I got permission to dig tomorrow on a 600 acre farm with old cellars located around the farm where homes were back in the day. Does anyone know any historical reference to Ash Grove missouri? I know Missouri was a top spot for civil war battles being the link between the north and the south, but I am not finding any historical reference to ash grove and the civil war. If nothing else, hope to pull some old coin. There is a creek running through the property meaning a direct water source. Any help would be appreciated if you know of any old camps that were in the area. Im a rookie and just learning the hobby. Do more creek jumping than land hunting.
