For a taste of the country where I first searched for Tayopa ------



I first visited that fall in 56, rode up the Chinapas river for a day then crossed over to the Mayo and on up for another few days - had to make my own trail. Never met anyone on the trip, not unusual.

Wish't that I had Judy along to enjoy the trip -- geologically speaking of course.

but David Gilmour is singing, and the sound is pretty good...

Yes , I live in Greece now . Street fights between Police and anarchists are a long tradition in Athens . Anarchists protest against laws and rules and sometimes when Police don't respect human rights . Maybe these permanent and frequent fights in Athens inspired the music band and used these pics .

Nice choice. Wish You Were Here - great song, great album. Expressing the nihilism that mushroomed after WWII, and, of course a eulogy to Syd Barrett. Pulse - great, great concert. Pink Floyd - game changers. The musicians ca 1965-1975, particularly the British, seem to continue their hold not only on us but those following.

Okay, we've all seen our share of concerts, it seems. I know I did, big acts and small ones - and many were killers. What single performance was the most memorable to you? I saw these guys in Kansas City in an old brick ballroom downtown back about '72 or so and was electrified, as were the other couple thousand people there. Sometimes the stars seem to line up just right, I guess.
