wow, that was a trip in the "way back" machine.
loved that song in the day, well still do.
i had a collection of albums from the day, unopened, that i got thru a record of the month club. all the biggies.
15 years ago, my kids found the collection and since i still had my turn table (still do, just love the scratchy sound) they opened them and played them.
they had never seen 33 1/3 albums. god i feel old.
also had Micheal Jackson "thriller". unopened (biggest album of all time, at that time) they opened it and played it. oh well.

Sounds like you must be an alright dad, to let your kids get
into your old record collection, and help them get acquainted,
with some of the best music of all time... That's my opinion
anyway, shhh don't say anythin' ta' Don Jose, he get's edgy
when I talk like that, trust me his music goes wayyy back,
but it is good stuff too. Man, I'm glad I was born in this
country. We had more fun than we were spose'd to.

woulda' been takin' it all in, and makin' the best
of it, as what's humanly possible, like we youngin's do...
