It was a very stormy weather event day, today.
There is some extensive damage you may hear about...

Don't let this pose and sun shadow trick you
yes, amazing, those sun shadow angles.

The creek is raging, at the high banks waterfall
elevation drop off, in my back pasture. I took a
couple of pics, the other day, when it was runnin'
decent, for the first time in awhile...

Now, after the good rains, on top of well saturated soil,
the creek is running fast, I'll take pics of it tomorrow in
the daylight, hopefully in between more showers... :sunny: :fish:

Crosse, sad is many things. You happy? l.o.l.
Like notes on a page life has highs and lows that if denied emotionally leaves something missed.
A balance of highs and lows on the teeter totter with no great extremes the desire.
When I get too happy with life I usually need a reminder there is still another side of it.

~: A Phenomenal Treasured ~ Happy Talented Spirit :~

Here is a friend of mine who has got a whole lot of that treasured spirit we love. Go Matthew!

. Now, he too is of Native American decent with the most amazing story, that he shares freely (otherwise I would not tell). He was found abandoned, on someone's doorstep, in a little box on the reservation, with just a little blanket on a chilly day.

Now, I don't know about you, but that would be a tough one to take. Take it, he did, and became a songwriter of the BEST kind. This last song, Sweet Celine, was written about the happy birth of his own daughter. He is a friend, father, and musician that has walked the walk. He sings and strums from the most sacred places in his heart.

Whoever gave him up that winter day, lost out. But, who knows their story? The best part is that he was born into this world, with stories to share and SING about.

Music is the ultimate gift, and I sure treasure those who bring it, bravely, fourth.

Now, Crosse'. When will you play for us? Waiting... [emoji99][emoji99][emoji99][emoji4]

Wow...

~ OK, Speaking Of Willie ~

Speaking of Willie Nelson, Don't know if y'all ever heard this short
tale, of his early workin', and strugglin' ta' make it, in the good 'ol,
but often quite hard to make it, music business...

It seems he sold a song (that later became a good hit record), and
then traveled to somewhere around Look en back Texas, and was
playin' music with some Outlaws like 'ol Waylin, and the boys...

Not the exception, or unusual case at all, for hungry artists/
hopefull singer/songwriter/composer/recording artist/performer,
to sell a very good hit to be sung by a current star, to get a few
bucks in their pocket, and maybe even a bit noticed...

A song that can be before "nightlife" song, depending on album I spose.

To counter Floyds "gravy train"...

On the turning away
From the pale and downtrodden
And the words they say
Which we won't understand
"Don't accept that what's happening
Is just a case of others' suffering
Or you'll find that you're joining in
The turning away"
It's a sin that somehow
Light is changing to shadow
And casting it's shroud
Over all we have known
Unaware how the ranks have grown
Driven on by a heart of stone
We could find that we're all alone
In the dream of the proud
On the wings of the night
As the daytime is stirring
Where the speechless unite
In a silent accord
Using words you will find are strange
And mesmerised as they light the flame
Feel the new wind of change
On the wings of the night
No more turning away
From the weak and the weary
No more turning away
From the coldness inside
Just a world that we all must share
It's not enough just to stand and stare
Is it only a dream that there'll be
No more turning away?

Mrs. Jodie,

:coffee2::coffee2::coffee2:

I think your friend Matthew Andrae, has all of the above, and charm, topped off
with good songwriting composition, enjoyable rich vocals, excellent execution in
the studio, a pleasure to listen to, a Truly Spirited Treasure... :treasurechest: 8-)

How's that, for a friendly amateur Fine Art/Music Critique, 8-)... :sunny: :fish:

~: Exactly! ~ Thanks! :~

Then there's a song Willie wrote that a satin voice got ahold of. Must be the one Crosse you referred to earlier.

~ That's nice! Exactly, Yes Thank You!, my music trivia rich Relevent friend! ~.... :sunny: :fish:

That was partly, very much what got his foot in the big door. Later, he would
go on to pitch: 'Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain', to Dollie Parton, who passed
on it. So Willie, just got around and recorded it, himself... :icon_scratch: :dontknow:

Dollie later said, "I just didn't think the song was right for me, at the time"...
Just think what she could/should have done with it, back then, with
her young Angelic, flowing vocals?... Hmmn, probly been a
Mega-Hit, like, when the 'Immortal Whitney Houston',
recording "I Will Always Love You", sold
a whopping 300 million copies!... Plus,
made an award winning movie soundtrack!!!...

...Went out with her band she put together, playing
numerous shows on the road, on a grueling schedule,
struggling to make ends meet, she kept singing and
paying her hard, maybe unfair dues...

Eventually, she made real good, and was able to pay
off, her excruciating $1,000,000 Debt...

... ~ But That Wasn't All, That She Did About It ~ ...

...Later On, when Dolly saw that Porter Wagoner was broke,

she had the money, and bought Porters' Song Rights...

You may think yes!, Sweet Revenge, right?...

Dolly meant what she had so graciously written, in the words

of the then, grown widely popular song... She Nobly, and Generously,

gave back to the man, who had given her the big start in her music career,

all of his cherished and valuable song rights, because she really did, Always Love Him...:treasurechest: :sunny: :fish:
