Any river drainage's to match, or creeks ect. in area?
I've checks area maps, topo maps and can't make sense of the large symbol on left side of mound. I'd like to know what the smaller symbol to middle left of the large one is? I can't find it anywhere on the net. The small stone can be seen in both pics showing its location to each other. The cave today has no "choices" to make to navigate. And the "letters" may not be letters. They look like Rune writings. My cave thread shows a lot of other pics. My avatar shows the area of this mound.
Thanks for the links folks.... I checked'em out.
That topo map worth comparing the forked scribe marks with.
Some figures may not be landmarks but rather description of who or what existed in a locale. A type food or specific game, or people, or field, or forest...depending on age could be hugely different today due to succession of species types..
Low ground for drainage's, or high ground for ridge top trails. Even modern roads, some of which follow the old trails due to their logical routes to and around features of terrain. Some here went to and from small prairie openings in the pine forests, others to water and the abundance of foodstuffs in and near it.
Others were for passing through a region in seasons of migration.
Not sure where early trade figured into them but later the waterways were related to trade.
A scale arrived at of size or distance might help with the other features marked.
I have met him more then a few times...the joy and pain...of the music business. he is cool, mellow.
Do treasures have real spirits? well They are inanimate objects. So.... whom buried/hid the loot/booty they would be the possessors
of the spirits. Or vice versa......
There is nothing better than a good rain to cleanse the spirit!
