I've got arthritis pretty bad, and I get awful kinked up when it's cold outside. Can't wait for spring!! ;D

In our area these old houses are where they are moving their meth labs to so as to avoid having all their possessions confiscated if they are raided.

Got 3 wheaties, a dime and a silver spoon so far, and a lot of farm stuff. What I need is a lawnmower to run over the grass......

Old houses are better than parks anyday. I love living in an old section of town....

Just be careful , those old homes aren't that sturdy and you never know what may come down or up .

Most property owners don't mind me searching, as long as I agree to not enter the old houses. They don't want me getting hurt in them, and some are in such bad shape, I'd be afraid to go in anyway.

Search around any of the trees and around the firplace. Look for loose bricks on the outside of the fireplace where someone might have stashed their goodies.

Good luck!! Looks like a great place to hunt. :)

Re: Don't ya love old houses?

Be sure and run your detector all around the door casing and the window casings. If you can get to the foundation piers, check around them and on top of the sill at those points. Check a straight line from each tree to the nearest corner of the house ( as well as the porch corners ). Check around the base of the fireplace chimney out to about 6ft. all around. Peack behind those corrigated metal panels for bottles / artifacts.

GOOD LUCK!!
