~~~Double Cellar Hole~~~Vampire Heart Spike~~~

Got out to a Cellar my friend told me about.

This kind of Cellar is rare because there are 2 separate holes with a 4ft wide stone wall through the center that was the foundation
for the chimney..Also there are no stairs at all so there must have been a stairway in the house floor...I didnt get a good shot with my camera unfortunately

Well it certainly was cherry picked but i managed to squeak out a few finds the 3 hours i was there

1846 Large cent

Some Horse tack

Colonial dome button and a few other flatties.

The first thing that came to mind when i dug the iron spike was a Vampire Heart slaying Spike

Yeah my imagination can run wild out there

Great condition on the LC. Cool spot as always.
Maybe the partitioin wall was so they could get away with shorter floor joists (beams) or maybe one half was for vegie storage, etc. whatever I guess well never know.

cellars sites like that are quite common , the house started as a small cabin on the ground and additions were done on either side with complete cellars dug for them first.we have a lot of them here in New England. congrats on the finds .

I dont know man i have over 300 cellar holes on my gps and about 3 or 4 are like this one..I would call that pretty rare
