DRAINED LAKE FINDS, finds ranging from 2000 to 1000 Part 2

went back to the lake today. i did OK, today i was hopeing for a little more.
here are the finds:
10 arrow/spear points(1 is a quartz point, anyone ever seee one before?)
4 peices of "whitesmans" clay pipe
100's of flakes from the arrow making process
bunch of clad
flat button
few coke bottles
old pickel jar that is turning purple, dated "dec. 6 1903"
old cracker jack token "join the mystery culb" printed on the back
junk ring
junk braclet
and some more things i dont remember
and more pics comming soon

Nice finds !!!! Sounds like a Indian camp site,,Where they sat around and produced arrow heads ,,Thats why you are finding so many flakes /chips ....Quartz arrow heads are usually white, some what like glass,,, They are very common on Eastern New York State and Conn, and all over Long Island!!! The Indians used them because flint was not local ,, so they used what they had ,Flint was preferred as it was stronger and sharper. The arrow head you have is called Quartzite... its rough like sandpaper, they come in shades of brown , and sometimes greenish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ex: White's Spectrum XLT, Tesoro Cutlass II Umax, and that circa late 70's red handled junk from RadioShack that started it.
I think we are working the same lake? ;)
