There has not been much rain in my area and it is limiting my options as to where I will dig because of the dry ground. I wouldn't even attempt to dig any groomed areas that are exposed to the sun, but some areas that are surrounded by shade aren't as bad. So this weekend I went to an old park with trees/shade and brought with me a 5 gallon bucket filled with water and a 1 gallon water jug, set the 5 gal bucket near the area I was gonna grid and kept the 1 gal jug close by. I never carried the jug but just set it down after each plug then grabbed it when I was at the next. It never ended up so far away that it was a problem, and when the jug was empty then I could refill it with the 5 gal bucket. With each plug I put a healthy amount of water in the hole and on the root ball clump then replaced and maybe a little on top. Seemed to work well, and that healthy amount of water in the shade can probably do a plug good for recovery. So just a tip for anyone that cares
