Way to go with the boat flipping. Been a while since I posted in this thread. Things have been hectic but are finally settling down. Haven't had time to list for a while although I have been able to squeeze out enough time to buy. Listed 20 since Monday.

Thanks, the one I looked at tonight was a total pile of trash! Lol
So after I declined the boat they mention there going to have a big garage sale this weekend. I say do you have a old oak roll top desk? She says yeah but she needs almost $4000!!!!!! For it!!!! Lol!!!!
I pleasantly declined and went on my merry way! Lol!
Way out of touch with reality!!! Lol!

:laughing7: $4000 for something at a yardsale.

Speaking of yardsales, I have struck out again. I haven't even considered buying something in about the last 20 yard sales. :sadsmiley:

That really, really sucks!!!
What's your price limit you'll spend on a parts truck to part out on eBay?

It depends on what it is of course, but I normally go $500 or below. Normally, around here, anything above $500 is running and driving, or fixable when it comes to those trucks. :laughing7:

Struck out again at yardsales, but I have an auction and some more yard sales tomorrow. I've been buying lure lots online too, stacking them up.

Local University Fishing Team had a Fishing stuff garage sale. Sure wish I knew what they were selling. I was like a fish out of water, pun intended.

What did you end up getting?
At $500 you should be able to buy a truck. I've never spent that much yet.

My son wants to keep this one as a beat around fishing boat. I just might as I don't have much in it. Actually all said and done the other boats more than paid for it for me so it's a freebie! Runs awesome 50 horse merc and she's solid, just not pretty! New fish finder too!

Good pick up on the boat. I bought some plastics and 7 or so hardbaits at that yardsale. Then I went back towards the end of the day and they had added some reels. I bought all of the stuff I left that morning along with the reels. A lot of soft plastics mainly. Spent $80 and one of the reels is a Shimano curado worth that so I'm good.

I bought nothing at the auction. I went back at the end of the day and some loser backed into me and left. :BangHead: done about $1500 worth of damage. Some people are just real losers. :BangHead:

Good deal on the real! But that really sucks about the damage! That happened to my wife once but someone saw it happen. The lady ended up coming back as we got her phone number and left a voicemail. Cop said we could have her arrested for leaving the scene but my wife said no. She's much nicer than me, if I'd been there she would've been hauled off to jail. Especially since she got out looked at the dent and ran to her car and left! Fits she had a vote for Obama sticker on her car...

I went from selling 3-5 a day to about 2 a week. I'm not going to pay for a store at that rate.

Man that sucks! Maybe do a broader type of inventory?
