I decided to try my luck in a park where i found my last gold ring, 3 minutes into the hunt my second target and out pops this little beauty. I was using an x-terra 705 with a 6" dd high freq 18.75 coil. Its the 4th time i use it and today it proved to be a killer on the gold. Ill try and post a link to a video later. The pictures are of my last 3-4 hunts since i got the coil.
The silver eagle I bought from a friend a coupple hrs. Ago, 20 bucks.

I love that bin of pull tabs, that's great, shows what you have to do besides luck to get some gold. Hard work and perseverance pays off! Congrats on some nice finds.

As Treblehunter said its great that you included a pic of all not so shiny item you had to pull out. I think sometimes people get the idea that some are just lucky and the best stuff hops out of the ground forthem. As Don asked I'm curious to know exactly what that is. Thanks

Good Price on the Silver Eagle!, Ive been scooping them up for 22 bucks lately. I'm glad that you showed the "reality" of digging for gold with all those Pulltabs

Well done! I have never seen one like that but I would take it in a heartbeat. You have dug A LOT of holes my friend. I am also glad that you showed the trash and other items to show people that the hobby takes patience, time, research, and luck to be a successful metal detectorist. SOme think you can simply buy a metal ddetector and find GOLD or Treasure everytime you turn on the machine. Until they realize the trash to keeper ratio is 30-1 lol. Keep it up!

Nice find! I would love to find any gold coin. I have dug the required number of pull tabs, just can't seem to find the gold.

Excellent find. I like that standing liberty half and all the other finds. You got to dig trash to find the good stuff. Is all this from the same park? I hope and pray I will be a member of the gold coin club someday.
