my best find was an 1851 large cent, found it in an area we all were working over . myself and shane were like 5 feet apart, we all were having to deal with alot of trash hits, after i found it couldn't believe it, i had to ask bobby and Cyn if they had planted that there

Place goes back to 1500 so anything is possible as far as coins there. A major watering area and route. I have seen old old coins on surface before and very deep so I personally don't take the depth thing into account how long it has been there. I would never plant a coin like that. Be in my pocket first lol Congrats on yours and the other great finds folks had. We didn't even cover but a small area of the land we had access to.

Hi I am new to hunting treasure but been really interested in the Ashley gang loot. trying to find some real info on them, like how true are the stories, has many people gone looking for these if any. I know the areas they talk about it being near, really would love to go take look if I can get proof that it's more then just rumors. Please if their are other threads about this would love to see. Any info would be great thanks
