4 Hours on the beach. Cold and even some snow, but that couldn't stop me, hahahaha.

Finds were "ok" but I didn't find anything "funny". Maybe that plastic soldier ?

1. 8.30 Euro = 10 USD
2. double key ring
3. older coins in Belgian Frank : 50 + 20 + 5 + 0.50
4. some small medallion

and the usual small items...

ThankYouForLooking ! ;)

Hello TBGO !

I must have found like 30 or 40 of them. Maybe I should make a picture of my private army and post it...

Nice finds Bob! Your finds and the exercise you get are outstanding. Are you keeping records or stashing your Euros? The totals should be getting up there, LOL! HH, Mike

Bob, which part of Belgium are you in, I was stationed at Florennes AB in 83-85 and lived in Hastiere overlooking the Muse river. I have to say this was by far my best assignment and the country is full of history we just dont have here in states. I am planning on taking a vacation there next year to visit friends in Mettet and Dinant, cant wait.

No, no, Mike : I never keep records of anything. Just spent the money like I find it. So I don't have to pick money out of my wallet if I want a coffee or a drink with the friends...

Exercise ? You ain't seen nothing yet, Mike : I go to the fitness 4x a week : on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday !!! ;D
And since 6 years.

How about th?t ? ;)

Dinant & Mettet are like 200 kilometers EAST of me. And as you know, 200 kilometers in Belgium is "far away", hahahaha ! I live in Brugge (Bruges), the nicest town/city in Belgium. Sorry, but it REALLY is beautiful. Mediaval & very well kept. I could be metal detecting here, but I don't like old coins & relics.
So I live close to the coast, MSgtUSAF, about 15-22 kilometers from Zeebrugge, Blankenberge, De Haan, Wenduine, Knokke, Heist. Oostende is like 30 kilometers... A few times I went to Oostduinkerke or Nieuwpoort, for a change.
