Why yes yes it is lol. Don't hear of too many found out here. More out on the east coast.

....I beg to differ!!!More come from the west......how many easterners do you know that have dug 100 Seateds?I know of one west of you!Also one site in your State produced a huge amount of Seateds and probably more gold coins than any in the nation

My two half dimes are seated too (1853 and 1856). Both from the Utah Territories.

yep,we might have to age,but just as many Reales and more Seateds come from out here.I have good friends that have hunted back East for 30 years that have less Seateds than guys out here who have hunted a fraction of the time....my point is,dont be discouraged,they are out there if you spend the time to research and hunt like Papa Bear does

You will,just keep after it and hunt pre 1900 sites....they will show

wow you people really know your (*^(_*)_ I'm just trying to find my first coin, live in provo, Ut goes back to late 1800 but getting premission to hunt, is kind of hard. any advice?
