I haven’t gone Hunting in a few weeks . Went to the park today . I only had about 20 minutes before the rain chased me away. After about 12 minutes and a dime, quarter and nickel later, I struck gold in the wood chips. At first I did not think it was real . I took it home and cleaned it up and it is obviously real. The stone looks real nice. I am going back after the rain.

The Band Looks like it was fitted for a smaller finger. The halmark could have been destroyed in the process

Sweet ring; I'm guessing that you looked for a hallmark on the inside of the band? I have a couple rings that I'm convinced are real but they don't contain hallmarks. I have those in a box that will someday accompany me to the jewelry store for confirmation. Good luck and good hunting. :)
