Good Ol' Ace

I have a question for you masters of the ACE. Is having the ace in relic mode the same as having it in say jewelry mode or all metal?

Is there a different frequency that one picks up on vs. the other? Or does each one just discriminate out other things.

The reason I'm asking is, I usually hunt in a custom mode with iron and bottlecaps notched out. But is running it in Relic mode different than All Metal?

Thanks so much. Any replies would be great!!

Demo Model vs. New in Box?

SF,

The easy way to understand is to look at the notches on the ACE when you scroll through the programs. You can see the differences in Jewelry and Relic and Coin by the blank spaces that are being discriminated out. There are differences in Jewelry and Relic. Relic will pick up lower conductivity targets such as medium to large iron and foil, while Jewelry will discriminate them out. In ALL METAL mode, there is no discrimination and all targets, including small iron items such as square nails, will be detected.

I hope this helps!
