Got a new ring with a shiny red stone

Howdy all,
I spent a couple hours at a new lake this morning. I spent all of my hunting time in the water. The ring almost got away from me. I was workin as deep as I dared go without slipping into deeper water. I got the signal at the edge of the dropoff, and it took 4 scoops to get it. As I looked down I see the ring slip out of the edge of the scoop. I thought that has to be gold, guess I will dive for it. I was able to get it in the scoop but just barely. Another couple of inches and it would have slipped into 3 more feet of water. It is marked 10k and weighs in at 2.5 grams. Looks good on the wifes finger. I don't think this swim area has been hit recently due to the amount of targets. So hopefully I will get back soon to see what else I can plunder. And here I thought my gold streak was over. LoL.
