Great box of...quarters?

Was getting a little tired of edge checking dimes, although boxes have been quite good to me (producing 2+ / box). Although quarters are dogmatically rejected as good use of CRH time, I thought I'd mix it up a little. Glad I did.

Standing Liberty Quarter ender when I opened the box (too worn down to date, can only tell it's Variety-II). I was enjoying my first CRH quarter so much that I almost missed the other Washington silver quarter in the same roll. Which surprised me so much that I almost missed the third one in the very next roll.

#s 4 and 5 before I was half way through the box. 6 & 7 showed up on the back end of the box.

This lovely box (my only) officially makes quarters my most productive denomination - how amusing is that?

Shame on you for making me double-take for the smallest fraction of a sec :)

I said to myself, "i could have sworn those seated liberty dates were on the bottom of the coin...oh, wait, smiley faces..."

Almost makes me want to get a box of quarters, but the memory of skunks pushes that urge away.

A wise move. 2 boxes of skunks since. That does not make a trend, but based on the extensive experience of many who've CRHed much longer than I, let's just call it what it was - a great aberration - and agree that quarters are a cruel mistress, best left for those that like punishment.

Very cool photo of the Standing Liberty quarter ender. You should add to the End of Roll pic thread. That's the first I've ever seen of an ender with a SLQ.

Congrats on the box. Looks like a dream box of quarters.
