Limitool.... got any wood ashes?

I know what you mean.... I use a wood pellet stove and have no ashes left while I heat my woodshop. My fireplace doesn't even count in the scope of things. And the wood I cut, split doesn't leave me enough usable chips to utilize where my car is now stranded. Besides that everything here is now under 2" of ice. The trees are bending and under a lot of stress here.

Hi Limitool; I know the feeling up here in Boston. I wish I had a solution for you. Best wishes. Let us know the outcome ok. PEACE:RONB :icon_scratch: :-\
One Idea: Make sure you always have a hand held Sledge Hammer with you. At least you would have some kind of brute force to use on that ice. Good Luck.

Colder than I want to be, and locked in the deep freeze with a rather large very deep piled blanket of snow and pillow of ice!

Spent last night in a cabin at Blue Springs State Park, just off the St Johns River. The spring was packed with manatees staying warm in the 72 degree springs in the 40 degree weather. Plenty of gar and bass were also sharing the spring. Around 11;00 PM last night, a black bear wandered around the cabin area causing the people staying in a cabin two sites down to abandon their fire ring and make a run for their cabin.
