This afternoon I started out hunting in the veggie garden. Found a round piece of iron about 10" deep. Other than that I wasn't having much luck at all. I decided to hunt on the north side of the house. Not far from a big pine tree I got a GOOD signal. It said a nickel so I thought it was probably a pull tab but dug just in case. Sure am glad I did. About 6 " down I found something round and gold looking. I couldn't believe my eyes! It is a horticulture judging pin. The claps on the back is still locked! Must have fell out of a pocket. I found three pennies and a dime in the same area then called it a day. Yes, I did the happy dance!
Feast your eyes on my first pin, and my pride, and joy.
