Hello my fellow td'ers, I am considering buying a new detector that can cover both the beach and parks as well as an old house site or two. I am looking at the dfx, explorer se, explorer 1000 and the infinium. I have a bad back as posted in other posts but don't mind digging especially in the sand. I know the se and dfx can do beaches and parks but are not water detectors. If the infinium is good for parks then I probably will get it as I do hope to hunt the water again. thanks for any suggestion. Ted

In all fairness, the Infinium is not good in parks. It is a VERY sensitive detector, which will pick up targets missedby a single frequency machine. It is a PI and will pick up ALL targets. Parks, unfortunately are loaded with junk. The Infinium is not an all around detector. It works well in areas with much fewer targets, and will pick up on the DEEP ones.
